Thailand 4.0: Promotional approach of Thai Youths in More Reading

Abstract
Reading is considered an important learning tool; therefore, when the society changes, reading must have its own evolution and changes as well. Technology influences the changed society with many limits that make Thai youths read less. To improve reading and preparation to support technology in the changed age is important. When Thailand turns into Thailand 4.0, the reading context changes in a better way. A reader can access learning sources variously.
Reading makes youths practice to think and imagine. It is a language that alphabetically conveys to a reader. Also, it makes youths have better concentration in alphabets. Thus youths will be trained their concentration and patience to do something, especially a book considered the source of wisdom that is used to develop themselves. At the present time, technology more influences youths than reading a book such as TV programs, computer games, and internet. According to the survey of Thai people’s reading from the National Statistics Office, it revealed that Thai people read on a mobile phone screen and a tablet screen at 1.8 percent in 2013 increased from 0.3 percent in 2011. The aforesaid trend is to prepare and support new technology and innovation in the Age go Thailand 4.0.
