Abstract
Innovation management of agricultural household model has objectives as followed: 1) To investigate the learning process of innovation management in agriculture. 2) To examine the development of innovation management in agriculture within Pakpanang basin at Baan Waa Yai, Sai Mak sub-district, ChianYai district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Qualitative research method was used to analyze problem-solving skills when measuring the process of social movement within this agricultural community.
The results illustrated that innovation management of agricultural household model was an effect from technical recommendations from related government agencies. The conferences and practical observations assisted the agriculturalists to develop new ideas and analysis of current situations to be experiments in one owns area. The agriculturalists were able to meet, discuss, and frequently evaluated the products from the interactions as well as the small but periodic experiments.
The process of innovation management development in agricultural household based on local knowledge and innovations of the agriculturalists from lesson learned visualizing and development revealed that agriculturalists developed their own individualized model and conducted small experiments. The evaluation and assessments’ results were discussed with experts and then reapplied in addition to the spiral model for maximum success.
Overall, the agriculturalists were able to combined local knowledge with theoretical knowledge to create a naturalistic innovation to solve the problems concerning the cost of the products, and maintenance costs. In addition, the agriculturalists demonstrated more understanding of the surrounding environments as well as assimilating it into personal life, family life, and community as a whole.
