THE GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING DIGITAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COMMISSION, LOPBURI

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current and desirable states of digital leadership of school administrators under the Office of Vocational Education, Lopburi Province; 2) to prioritize the needs for developing digital leadership among these administrators; and 3) to propose guidelines for enhancing the effectiveness of digital leadership of school administrators under the Office of Vocational Education, Lopburi Province The sample group consisted of 520 participants, including school administrators and teachers under the Office of Vocational Education, Lopburi Province, in the academic year 2024. They were selected using stratified random sampling.
The research instruments used for data collection were a rating-scale questionnaire and an interview form. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, priority needs index (PNI), and content analysis for qualitative data. The research findings revealed that the current state of digital leadership of school administrators was at a high level, and the desirable state was also at a high level. The analysis of the needs for developing digital leadership showed that the top three priority areas were: (1) communication, (2) public relations, and (3) Student engagement. The area with the lowest level of need was professional development. The study proposed three main guidelines for developing digital leadership among school administrators under the Office of Vocational Education, Lopburi Province, to enhance their leadership effectiveness in the digital era.
