Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to find 1) the emotional intelligence of school administrator under Prachuapkhirikhan Primary Educational Service Area Office I, 2) the internal supervision of school administrator under Prachuapkhirikhan primary educational service area office I, 3) the relationship between the emotional intelligence of school administrator under Prachuapkhirikhan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and internal supervision of school administrator support. The sample for this study were 85 schools under under Prachuapkhirikhan Primary Educational Service Area Office I. The respondent were school administrators, the heads of academic affair department, and teachers totally 255. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding emotional intelligence of school administrator based on Dubrin and the internal supervision of school administrator based on Glickman. The statistical treatments were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson's product - moment correlation coefficient.

            The findings of  the  research  were  as  follow :

  1. The emotional intelligence of school administrator under Prachuapkhirikhan primary educational service area office I was at a high level in overall and individual aspect, ranking from the highest to the lowest: social-awareness, self-awareness, self-management, and relationship management.
  2. The internal supervision of school administrator under Prachuapkhirikhan Primary Educational Service Area Office I was at a high level in overall and individual aspect, ranking from the highest to the lowest : professional development, group development, direct to assistance, curriculum development, and action research.

       3. The relationship between the emotional intelligence of school administrator and the internal supervision under Prachuapkhirikhan Primary Educational Service Area office I was found at .01 level of statistical significance.
