LEADER BEHAVIOR OF ADMINISTRATORS OF SAIYOKNOIWITTAYA SCHOOL, KANCHANABURI PROVINCE

The purposes of this research were to find 1) leader behavior of administrators of Saiyoknoiwittaya school and 2) the development guidelines for leader behavior of Saiyoknoiwittaya school. The population were 30 personnel’s from Saiyoknoiwittaya school. The instrument used in this research were a questionnaire and focuses group discussion form and structured interview regarding leader behavior of administrators according to the concept of Daniel E. Griffith. The statistic used in the research were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The findings of this research were as follows:
- Leader behavior of school administrators of school overall and individually, was found at a high level: ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean as follow: the school administrator as a coordinator, the school administrator as effective speaker, the school administrator as recognizer , the school administrator as improver, the school administrator as a social man, the school administrator as an initiator, and the school administrator as a helper.
- The development guidelines for leader behavior of Saiyoknoiwittaya school in 3 aspects: 1) the school administrator persuade other people that motivating people to work communicating correctly and clearly, 2) the school administrator as recognizer who encouraging the participants to create and to respect others and give a rewards when they work successfully, 3) the school administrator as supporter who care and supporting colleagues to be successful in both work and personal life by look after welfare with care as well as help to take care of health and safety at work.
