Abstract

                The purposes of this research were to find 1) management information system in school under secondary educational service area office 10 2) student care and support system in school under secondary educational service area office 10 and 3) the relationship between management information system and student care and support system in school under secondary educational service area office 10 The sample for this study were 52 schools under secondary educational service area office 10. The responders were school administrators, the heads of information systems, the head of student care and support system, and teachers totally 208. The instrument was a questionnaire about management information system based on conceptual of Laudon and Laudon and student care and support system in school based on the concept of the student care and support system in school handbook of the Office of Basic Education Commission. The statistical treatments were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product – moment correlation coefficient.

               The research finding revealed that

                1) Management information system in school under secondary educational service area office 10 were at a high level. Ranking level with arithmetic mean from high to low were input, context, process, output and feedback.

                2) Student care and support system in school under secondary educational service area office 10 were at a high level. Ranking level with arithmetic mean from high to low were development, prevention/protect, students classification, referring and knowing student individually.

                3) Management information system and student care and support system in school under secondary educational service area office 10, were related to student care and support system with a high level at .01 level of significance which is positive correlated.
