Abstract

                The purposes of this research were to determine: 1) the academic administration of school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group 2) the quality of student in school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group and 3) the relationship between the academic administration and the quality of student in school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group. The samples were 59 schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group. The respondents in each school were 2 school director, deputy school director or academic teacher and 2 teachers with the total of 236 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire concerning the academic administration based on the Supervisor Unit Department of Education, Bangkok and the quality of student based on standard for Quality Assurance in Basic Education Institutions of National Education Commission. The statistics used for data analysis were the frequencies, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation coefficient.  

              The research finding were as follow:   

               1. The academic administration of school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group, as a whole was at a high level, as an individual aspect were at a highest level in 2 aspects. In order arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum as follows; the management curriculum, the academic planning, the developing innovative media technology and learning resources, the quality assurance in education and academic, the research to improve the quality of education, the learning process management and community participation to improve academic.

              2. The quality of student in school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group, as a whole and an individual, were at high level. In order arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were as follows; standard 2 the students have moral, ethical and desirable values, standard 1 the students are happy and have good aesthetics, standard 6 the students have skills to work, love work, can work with others have good attitude towards the profession, standard 3 the students have skills for self-study and love to learn and develop themselves continuously, standard 4 the students have the ability to think systematically, creative thinking and decide the right solution. And standard 5 the students have the knowledge and skills required by the curriculum   

             3. There was a relationship between the academic administration and the quality of student in school under Bangkok Metropolitan Krungthontai Group, overall and individual at .01 level of statistical significance.
