THE TEACHER EMPOWERING OF ADMINISTRATORS IN MATTHAYOMTHANBINKAMPANGSEAN SCHOOL

The purposes of this research were to find: 1) the teacher empowerment of administrators in Mathayom Thanbinkampangsean School and 2) The process of the teacher empowerment of administrators in Mathayom Thanbinkampangsean School. The population of the research were 119 personnel of Matthayomthanbinkampangsean School include the school administrators and teachers. The instruments were a questionnaire, regarding empowering teacher of administrators in Mathayom Thanbinkampangsean School, based on Tracy’s concept, and an interview to find empowering teacher of administrators’ process in Mathayom Thanbinkampangsean School. The data were statistically processed by taking frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The result of the study led to the following conclusions:
- The empowering teacher of administrators in Mathayom Thanbinkampangsean School was overall rate as high level; ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean were recognition, trust, permission to fail, delegate authority, clearly define responsibilities, respect, training and development, set standard of excellence, give feedback, provide knowledge and information.
- The empowering teachers of administrators’ process in Matthayomthanbinkampangsean School were: 1) the administrators should be offered and organized training programs to strengthen the teachers’ competency to make them in their field of teaching, 2) the administrators should set the standard of excellence clearly, 3) the administrators should regularly give reasonable feedback to teachers, 4) the administrators should frequently inform teachers about any new development in the area 0f teaching techniques, methods and innovation.
