EDUCATION MANAGEMENT QUALITY OF MATTHAYOMPURANAWAS SCHOOL BASED ON STANDARD SCHOOL UNDER BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

The purposes of this research were to determine 1) the education management quality of Matthayompuranawas School based on standard school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and 2) guidelines for development of education management quality of Matthayompuranawas School based on standard school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The population used in this research were 43 personnel, including teachers, deputy directors and the school director of Matthayompuranawas School. The research instrument was questionnaire. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The findings revealed as follows:
- The education management quality of Matthayompuranawas School based on standard school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at high level, collectively and individually, ranking from the highest to the lowest by arithmetic mean as follows: the internal quality assurance and development, the efficiency of education management, the identity of student and the uniqueness of school, and the human resource management.
- Guidelines for development of education management quality of Matthayompuranawas School based on standard school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration as follow 1) The efficiency of education management; the school should annually analyze and improve the school curriculum in accordance with the national standard by emphasizing the variety of activities, improving the student academic achievement, and increasing the personnel efficiency and effectively by delegating work according to the personnel individual strengths. 2) The internal quality assurance and development; the school should have internal quality assurance system with clear school education standard, education development plans, and education quality evaluation reports for those involved to the school with projects and activities stated. 3) The identity of students and the uniqueness of school; the school should imprinted and build learners’ consciousness about school uniqueness and learners identity by originating learner development activities. 4) The human resource management; the school should emphasize on participations and increase morale of the personnel by promoting the teachers to be professional teachers.
