The purposes of this research were (1) to compare the pre-learning and post-learning ability to critical reading ability of Mathayomsuksa 5 students who learned under the GPAS learning management; and (2) to study students’ satisfaction with learning management Mathayomsuksa 5 who learned under the GPAS learning management.
The research sample consisted of 34 Mathayomsuksa 5 students in an intact classroom of Benchamatheputhit Phetchaburi School. Metropolis during the first semester of the 2018 academic year, obtained by cluster sampling. The experiment was conducted under the one-group pretest-posttest research design. The employed research instructions comprised (1) the GPAS learning management plans; (2) the critical reading ability test; and (3) a scale to assess students’ satisfaction with learning management. Data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
Research findings showed that (1) the post - learning to critical reading ability of Mathayomsuksa 5 students who learned under the GPAS learning management were significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart ability at the .01 level; The test consistency index is between .67-1.00. the difficulty (p) between 0.43-0.70 and has a classification power (r) of 0.20 or more, and (2) students’ satisfaction with learning management of Mathayomsuksa 5 students who learned under the GPAS learning management was at the high level and The confidence value is 0.82.
