SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF PUBLIC UNIVERSITY DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL

Abstract

                The research aimed to determine 1) the factors of social responsibility of public university demonstration school, 2) the confirmation of the social responsibility of public university demonstration school. The population of this research were 31 public university demonstration school. The sample size consisted of 28 schools, which was determined by Krejcie and Morgan’s comparison table of the size and the researcher used simple random sampling methods. There were 10 respondents from each school which included 1 school director, 3 deputy school directors, 3 heads of department, and 3 school committees, totally 280 respondents. The research instruments were semi-structured interview form, opinionnaire and the confirmation questionnaire for factor of social responsibility of public university demonstration schools. The statistical used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis and content analysis.

               The research findings were as follows:

               1) the 5 factors of social responsibility of public university demonstration school were found; (1) user protection, (1.1) fair service, (1.2) community participation and community development, (2) environmental management, (3) respect for human rights, (4) welfare care, and (5) good governance principle

               2) The results of the confirmation for factors of social responsibility of public university demonstration school which the most expert’s opinions were consensus that the factors of social responsibility of public university demonstration school were verified with accuracy, propriety, feasibility, and utility.
