THE TEAMWORK OF SUWANSATHUKIT SCHOOL GROUP UNDER SUPHANBURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

This research purposes were to identify; 1) the teamwork of Suwansathukit School Group under Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) the developmental guidelines of teamwork of Suwansathukit School Group under Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population used in this research were 10 primary schools of Suwansathukit School Group under Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The 4 respondents in each school were a school director or an assistant school director, a head of academic affairs department and 2 teachers with the total of 40. The 2 kinds of research instrument which were; a questionnaire about teamwork based on Woodcock’s concept and an interview. The statistical used for analysis the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The findings of the research were as follow :
- The teamwork of Suwansathukit School Group under Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, as a whole and individual, was at a high level. Ranking by arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were to; sound procedures, sound inter-group relation, clear objective and agree goals, individual development, balanced roles, good communications, appropriate leadership, support and trust, regular review, openness and confrontation and co-operation and conflict.
- There were 11 developmental guidelines of teamwork of Suwansathukit School Group under Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 which were to; (1) provide the knowledge management about co-operation and conflict management (2) do manual of work description clearly (3) build the chance to exchange learning and working with each others. (4) participate in organizational development (5) develop team working (6) improve good communication skill among teams (7) create an information system of school (8) arrange facilities in operation (9) establish cohesiveness (10) train school personnel to be good leader and follower, and (11) construct awareness and understanding on being a good member in team.
