Abstract

                  The purposes of this research were to determine 1) the administrator’s competency of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 2) the quality education of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 3) the relationship between administrator’s competency and quality education of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample of this research consisted of 86 schools in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office. The respondents were a school director or an acting school director and a teacher, total of 172 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding administrator’s competency based on Office of the Basic Education Commission and quality education based on The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The statistics used were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient.

                The  findings  of  the  research  were  as  follow :

  1. The administrator’s competency of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, collectively was at a high level, where 3 aspects were found at the highest level and 6 aspects at high level; ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean as follow: personnel development, teamwork, self development, achievement orientation, communication and motivation, analysis and synthesis, service mind, vision and transformational leadership.   
  1. The quality education of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office, collectively and individually, was at high level; ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean as follow: quality content, quality learner, quality process, quality learning environment and quality outcomes.
  2. The relationship between administrator’s competency and quality education of school in Samutsakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office was found at .01 level of statistical significance.
