CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN WATPRAPATHOMCHEDI (MAHINTARASUEKSAKAN) SCHOOL

The purposes of this research were to determine ; 1) the conflict management in Watprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) School , and 2) the teacher’s need forconflict management in Watprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) School. The population were 94 administrators and teachers inWatprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) School. The research instrument was aquestionnaire based on conflict management inWatprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) School. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation.
The findings revealed as the follows:
1. Theconflict management in Watprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) School as awhole was rated at a high level. When considered in each aspect, the four types of conflict management were rated at a high level; compromising, dominating, integrating, and oblinging. For the type of avoiding was rated at a moderate level.
2. The teacher’s need for conflict management in Watprapathomchedi (Mahintarasueksakan) Schoolwas the integrating type.
