Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to examine the level of employer branding of private schools in Bangkok, 2) to investigate the level of organizational commitment among private school teachers, and 3) to analyze the influence of employer branding on teachers’ organizational commitment. This study employed quantitative research design, using a questionnaire as the main instrument for data collection. The sample consisted of 202 teachers from private schools, selected through simple random samplings. The research procedures included defining the population and selecting the sample, developing and validating the research instrument, collecting data from the respondents, and analyzing the data using descriptive statistics—frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation—and inferential statistics through stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The results revealed that 1) employer branding was at a high level, with functional benefits receiving the highest mean score, followed by psychological benefits, while economic benefits had the lowest mean score. 2) Organizational commitment was also at a high level, with affective commitment being the highest, followed by normative commitment, whereas continuance commitment had the lowest mean score. 3) Employer branding predicted 76.20 percent of the variance in organizational commitment. Psychological benefits had the strongest positive influence (β = .901), economic benefits had a negative influence (β = –.135)
