THE GUIDELINES OF RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY BASED ON BUDDHIST EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF SCHOOLS IN HUAY RAI SUBDISTRICT UNDER OFFICE OF PHETCHABUN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 2

Abstract

The purposes of this thesis were 1) to study the condition of developing relationships between schools and communities 2) to study methods of developing relationships between schools and communities in accordance with Buddhist educational administration principles 3) To propose guidelines of relationship development between school and community based on Buddhist educational administration of schools in Huay rai subdistrict under office of Phetchabun primary educational service area 2. Quantitative methods research was used questionnaire as a tool. Quantitative data collected from a sample of 207 teachers and parents. The quality of the research instruments was examined by 5 experts. The data were analyzed using basic statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Results found that 1) the condition of developing relationships between schools and communities in all 5 aspects was at a high level 2) the methods of developing relationships between schools and communities in accordance with Buddhist educational administration principles consists of (1) administrative processes that are related to schools, communities, and network partners for the benefit of schools and communities in 5 areas: the relationship between school community and network, community services, participation in community development respectively, community support, and followed by evaluation in the operation of community and network (2) the 6 principles of saraniyadhamma, namely, mercy for physical karma, mercy for karma, mercy to mano karma, public relations, silasamnanta, ditthisamanyata, 3) guidelines for developing relationships between schools and communities in accordance with the Buddhist educational administration principles of schools in Huai Rai Sub-district. Phetchabun Primary Educational Service Area Office, District 2, is the administration to create relationships between schools and communities by applying the principles of Saranya Dharma as a guideline to develop relationships between schools and communities for peaceful coexistence and to create unity among the group.
