DEVELOPING A MODEL OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP LEARNING MANAGEMENT SKILLS BASED ON THE MONTESSORI CONCEPT OF TEACHERS AT WATDANCHANG SCHOOL UNDER SUPHANBURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

Abstract

This research paper aims to create and experiment with a professional learning community model, to develop learning management skills according to the Montessori concept of the teachers of Wat Dan Chang School, Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The research process was carried out as follows: 1) to create and examine a vocational learning community model to develop learning management skills based on the Montessori concept. The model was created based on a document study and interviews with 6 key informants. The model was examined by connoisseurship of 10 experts. 2) The model was tested with the sample group of 35 teachers in grades 1-6 of Wat Dan Chang School, Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, and 781 students in grades 1-6.The data were analyzed by the content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and t-test. Results indicated that 1) Professional learning community model to develop learning management skills according to the Montessori concept of the teachers of Wat Dan Chang School, Suphan Buri Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 consisted of 5 components: (1) Principles, (2) Objectives, (3) Methods, and processes of the model, namely the development of teamwork, setting a vision shared values and goals, support arrangement learning and professional development together. It consisted of sub-processes: analysis, goal setting, Review of knowledge, and equipment media, lesson presentation planning Implemented in the classroom, reflection, sharing of practice, (4) measuring and evaluating the model, and (5) conditions for the success of the model. The results of the model examination revealed that the model was appropriate and feasible at the highest level. 2) Results of model validation on accuracy, suitability, feasibility and overall usefulness were at the highest level.
