GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION ACCORDING TO GOOD GOVERNANCE OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE ADMINISTRATORS UNDER OFFICE OF PHRANAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 1

Abstract

The purposes of this thesis were 1) to study the condition Administration of educational institutions according to the principles of good governance of educational institution administrators. 2) to study the methods of school administration according to the principles of good governance of educational institution administrators. 3) To propose guidelines for school administration according to the good governance of educational institution administrators under office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya primary educational service area 1. Mixed methods research was used combines the methods of quantitative and qualitative research. The questionnaire was used as a quantitative data collection tool from a sample of 217 teachers and an interview questionnaire was used to collect qualitative data from five experts. Quantitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics consisted of mean and standard deviation whereas qualitative data was analyzed by content analysis. Results found that 1) the state of educational institution administration according to the principles of good governance of educational institute administrators in all 6 aspects was at a high level. 2) educational institution administration methods according to to good governance of educational institute administrators under office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya primary educational service area 1, comprising of activities related to educational management in all aspects caused by personnel working together to manage. Use administrative processes effectively by an organization management method that is appropriate and consistent with the context of each educational institution, integrated with the principles of good governance in 6 areas, namely the principle of value for money; principle of responsibility principle of participation Principles of transparency, principles of morality, rule of law. 3) The guidelines for school administration according to the good governance of educational institution administrators under office of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya primary educational service area 1 is the administration of educational institutions to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness, integrated with the principles of good governance Use moral and ethical principles as the basis for school administration to ensure quality and achieve school objectives.
