Abstract

Abstract


The purpose of this research were as follows : 1) to study the actual roles of school administrators in promoting on lifelong learning of teachers under the secondary educational service area office 3, 2) to study the expected roles of school administrators  in promoting on lifelong learning of  teachers under the secondary educational service area office 3, and 3) to compare between the actual roles and the expected roles of school administrators  in promoting on lifelong learning of  teachers under the secondary educational service area office 3.  The Comparative Study of The Actual and Expected Roles of School Administrators  in Promoting on Lifelong Learning of Teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample was selected from 335 teachers under the secondary educational service area office 3. The research instrument was the actual roles questionnaire with the reliability at 0.97 and the expected roles questionnaire with the reliability at 0.98. The data analysis were implemented on mean, standard deviation,and paired-samples t-test.


The results of the study found that:


  1. As a whole, the conditions of curriculum management in independent study subject was at a high level. They are put in order from high to low as the following : school curriculum establish, quality supervision and supporting and encouraging.

  2. As a whole, the problems of curriculum management in independent study subject was at a low level. They are put in order from high to low as the following : quality supervision, school curriculum establish and supporting and encouraging.

  3. The solution guidelines of curriculum management in independent study subject. In school curriculum establish was that the school administrators should appoint the academic administration committee in school with regard of knowledge, skill, experience and team building. In supporting and encouraging was that the school administrators should appoint the supporting and encouraging committee of independent study subject for human development and budget, materials, information systems supply. In quality supervision was that the school administrators should appoint the quality supervision committee of independent study subject with regard of knowledge, skill and experience.
