Abstract

Learning in Buddhism is to develop the five aggregates for the benefits of learners. Learning in the 21st century is to learn for living in the era of globalization. Students must learn to develop their skills to the excellence and to live in society firmly. Learning to the excellence in the 21st century requires internal and external factors that are Yonisomanasikara and kalayanamitta (Reflective thinking and good companion).


The learning skills in the 21st century are for living a life and for career. The main skills in life that students have to be developed are flexibility, adaptability, social skills, cross-cultural skills, productivity, accountability, and responsibility. All these factors are the keys to live in society peacefully in the 21st century.
