In temple management as cultural tourist attraction, abbots and the temple boards have to manage and maintain temple architecture; stupa, ordination hall, vihara, Buddha images and other items in appropriate condition and the temple compound must be kept clean and tidy. Monks in the temples must behave themselves in accordance with discipline codes and social etiquette and at the same time they should be able to provide correct information to tourists. Temples should interest visitors who want to get knowledge and admire the wisdom and heritage of our ancestors. Temples should be set beautifully and tidily and arts and cultures in the temple should reflect ways of life of people in society. Temple is the first educational institution of Thai people.
