Abstract

The Lord Buddha, the teacher of celestial beings and human beings, taught three main Buddhist doctrines: Not to do any evil, To do good and To purify the mind. This teaching should be brought as a guideline in living a life and work of teachers. The teachers should follow 7 principles called Kalayanamitta Dhamma. They are loveliness, respectfulness, praiseworthiness, reasonable, tolerance, simplicity and encouraging students to do good. When the teachers have followed these principles, their teacherhood will be perfect and they are ready to teach their students to be good and skillful in the future.
