Abstract

This Academic article is a study of alternative school management to enhance the ability of 21st century learners to help students develop critical skills in a rapidly changing society. In various fields such as society and technology, multicultural diversity. And racial and linguistic diversity. To be shared in the ASEAN community. The current society is highly competitive in every aspect. Knowledgeable learners will be able to adapt to the society happily.


In this article is study an the concept and learning management of alternative schools in Thailand. There are a total of 14 concepts used to manage the learning of each school. Each school will choose one of its core concepts. In addition, there is a comprehensive list of selected alternative schools in the field of alternative education with total 34 school. A study of the characteristics of learning management in each concept. And in this article’s study, collect and analyze skills of 21st century learners: 1) learning and innovation skills; 2) information and media and technology skills; 3) life skills and work; and 4) 3R8C, study and synthesize the abilities of learners in the modern school: 1) high self-responsibility, 2) know how to learn, 3) ability to work with other people, 4) have creative ideas and practices, 5) can apply new abilities and events, 6) have the right values. In addition, this article offers advice on student learning in alternative schools in the 21st century. It consists of six elements: integration of 14 concepts, balance and integration, building strengthen 21st century skills for sustainable learners. Develop a strong and continuous 3R8C skills. Train the students to develop their abilities to full potential.  Developing 21st century skills, coupled with the strengthening of the capabilities of the new study and organized a variety of activities.


Alternative school management in the 21st century is an alternative way of managing learning. And students are able to develop their full potential and ability to meet the needs of the 21st century society. They help students become good people and enjoy learning in now society which is the rapidly change.
