คุณสมบัติทางจิตมิติของแบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในวัยรุ่นไทย

บทคัดย่อ

         การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางจิตมิติของแบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ฉบับภาษาไทยของ Farn-Shing Chen และคณะ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1-3 จำนวน 840 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ  แบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ฉบับเต็มของ Farn-Shing Chen และคณะโดยแปลเป็นภาษาไทย แบ่งออกเป็นสองตอน ตอนที่หนึ่งเป็นข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบ และตอนที่สองเป็นแบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ มีข้อรายการจำนวน 35 ข้อ เป็นมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ(เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่ง (5)-ไม่เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่ง (1)) ประกอบด้วย 6 องค์ประกอบ คือ การคิดให้ง่ายขึ้น, การจัดการอารมณ์, การเข้าใจอารมณ์, การตระหนักในอารมณ์, เกี่ยวข้องกับอารมณ์  และการควบคุมอารมณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าความเที่ยงแบบสอดคล้องภายใน และวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันอันดับที่สอง ผลการวิจัย พบว่า แบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์มีค่าความเที่ยงค่อนข้างสูงมีค่า เท่ากับ .73  การตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงโครงสร้างของแบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ โดยการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันอันดับที่สอง พบว่าโมเดลมีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ มีค่าไค-สแควร์ (Chi-square) เท่ากับ 578.59 ค่าดัชนีวัดระดับความกลมกลืน (GFI) เท่ากับ 0.60 ค่าดัชนีวัดระดับความกลมกลืนที่ปรับแก้แล้ว (AGFI) เท่ากับ 0.54 และค่าดัชนีรากของกำลังสองเฉลี่ยของค่าความแตกต่างโดยประมาณ (RMSEA) เท่ากับ 0.038

Abstract

This research aimed to study psychometric property of emotional intelligence scale (Thai version) developed by Farn-Shing Chen & et al. The sample included 840 students from Matthayom 1-3. The research instrument was a full version of emotional intelligence scale by Farn-Shing Chen & et al. translated in to Thai. The scale consisted of two sections. The first section dealt with general information of respondents and the second section dealt with 

emotional intelligence scale. The emotional intelligence scale included 35 statements with 5-rating scale levels (5: Totally Agree – 1: Totally Disagree). The statements addressed 6 elements including Facilitating Thought, Emotion Management, Emotion Perception,  Emotional Awareness, Emotion Concern and Emotional Control. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was applied to analyze data. The second order confirmatory factor analysis was analyzed. The results showed that the validity of the emotional intelligence scale was high or at .73. The construct validity of the emotional intelligence scale analyzed through the second order confirmatory factor showed that the model was consistent with empirical data. The Chi-square was at 578.59, the Goodness of – Fit Index (GFI) was at 0.60, the Adjusted Goodness of Fit index (AGFI) was at 0.54 and the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) was at 0.038 respectively.
