บทคัดย่อ

The purpose of this research was to study of online networks behavior and their impact on high school students who studying in first semester academic year 2017 in Chonburi province. The selected sample were school students, approximately 457 participants from a random Multi-Stage method. The instruments for collecting data were 5-point rating scale questionnaires. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and mutivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).


         The results of this study can conclude as follows:


  1. The maximum internet consume rate per day is more 3 hours or 75.3%. The social network consuming behavior research resulted illustrate as follows; The most popular online social network is Facebook, 24.38%. There was 45.51% used internet chatting to talking with current and old friends, 89.50% used internet more than five times a week, 23.27% used internet from Monday to Friday, at home before going bed time, 25.54% used internet on Saturday and Sunday during night time (19.00 – 24.00 hrs.).

  2. The impact of using online social network is focusing on emotional, social and learning factor respectively; overall was in low level (gif.latex?\bar{x}=2.30), there were; emotional impact at (gif.latex?\bar{x}=2.33), society impact at (gif.latex?\bar{x}=2.24) level and learning impact at low level as well (gif.latex?\bar{x}=2.32).

  3. To compare impact in using social network of high school students in Chonburi Province, classified by gender, level of education and education program found that no statistically significant difference. The prior experienced in using online social network with the income average per month from parent statistically significant differences at the .05 level.
