Publication Ethics of Research for Community Service journal
Research for Community Service journal is an academic journal published to promote the use of this publication by lecturers, academics, and researchers as a platform for the dissemination of knowledge and research findings, as well as to promote academic and research knowledge exchange. Therefore, guidelines have been established in conformity with international publication standards for the ethics and practice of publishing high-caliber academic works and research.
Research for Community Service journal has therefore established the following roles and responsibilities for authors, editorial board, and article evaluators:
The role of author
1. Author must present an article that has not been published or is not in the process of being considered for publication in any other journal or publication or has not been accepted to be published in another journal.
2. Authors must not copy other people's works.
3. Author must agree to edit the manuscript according to the recommendations of the article appraisers and the editorial board.
4. Authors must follow the specified format and citations by the journal in all respects.
5. Contents of articles published in Research for Community Service journal is the author's responsibility.
The role of the editorial board
1. Editors are responsible for considering, screening, and selecting articles whose content and quality are consistent with the objectives and scope of the journal and according to the publication format specified by the journal.
2. Editors are responsible for checking both Thai and English abstracts, content, language use, citations, and compilation article before submitting them to an expert to evaluate the article.
3. Editors are responsible for selecting experts to consider and evaluate articles that match with the fields of that article.
4. Editors are responsible for summarizing the results of the evaluation or recommendations from experts and submit to the author. Editors must not interfere, change or modify the results of the assessment from experts.
5. Editors are responsible for checking the accuracy of articles after the author revised according to the recommendation of experts evaluating the article. If the author does not edit according to the expert evaluation of the article, editorial office have the right to cancel the author's article immediately.
6. Editors must not disclose information about authors and reviewers to other unrelated parties.
7. Editors are responsible for improving the quality of journals to be up-to-date and have new knowledge that is beneficial to social development of the local community.
8. Editors must not have conflicts of interest with authors and expert reviewers.
Roles and responsibilities of the experts assessing the articles
1. Article reviewers must evaluate articles in the fields which they have true knowledge and understanding.
2. Article reviewers must evaluate the article, it's critical to consider the integrity and standards of distribution.
3. Article reviewers must not use the academic work for personal gain.
4. Article reviewers must not disclose information about the article and the author's information to other unrelated parties.
5. Article reviewers must evaluate articles within the evaluation period specified by the editorial board.
