Factors Influencing Job Satisfaction, Job Performance and Intention to Leave of Guide

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study 1) the factors influencing job satisfaction
2) performance and 3) intention to leave of guide. The study mainly focused on the factors from the stress at work, the stress from duty and responsibility with family problems as a central variable. This study employed a questionnaire as a research instrument to collect the data from guides in the Bangkok area. The statistical tools used to analyze the data were percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, test of correlation and simple regression. It was found that job stress, role stress work conflicts from the job role had an influence on the job satisfaction, job performance and intention to leave. In addition, the job performance was the main influence for the intention to leave.
