Information System Development for Community Management on Hydroelectric Energy: Doi Pu Muen

Abstract
This research aimed to develop the participatory information system on hydroelectric energy by the Doi Pu Muen community for their community members. The system was developed by using the Microsoft SQL and ASP.NET code before the trail usage. The data collection was done by purposive sampling method from 20 committees and members of Doi Pu Muen community. The research result showed that the satisfaction of the respondents towards the information system in overall was at the highest level ( = 4.35, S.D. = 1.24) for all perspectives as follows: in terms of Being Useful and Applicable ( = 4.72, S.D. = 0.36), in terms of the Effectiveness of the system ( = 4.32, S.D. = 1.58), and Being Beneficial to business perspectives ( = 4.345, S.D. = 0.83). A good practice to apply to the authentic situation for participatory information system of the community for their community members should focus on 1) Practice problem solving by applying the data from the report to support in terms of technique assistance and the process of effective problem-solving management by the community for their community members. 2) Create and transfer the knowledge by providing the training and share the knowledge about the information system in order to enable the community members to manage their group and community in a sustainable way.
