การอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันของนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาพฤติกรรม ความสนใจ ความคิดเห็นจากการอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์รายวัน และความพึงพอใจต่อการให้บริการหนังสือพิมพ์ของสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ปีการศึกษา 2555 จำนวน 397 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตจำนวนสูงสุดอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ฉบับออนไลน์มากกว่าฉบับพิมพ์ ความถี่และช่วงเวลาอ่านไม่แน่นอน อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์จำนวน 1 ฉบับในแต่ละ ครั้งใช้เวลา 16-30 นาที อ่านที่หอพัก วิธีการอ่านคือ อ่านฉบับพิมพ์เฉพาะข่าวบางเรื่องและบทความบางคอลัมน์ที่อยากอ่าน เพื่อต้องการรับรู้ข่าวสารที่ทันต่อเหตุการณ์ หนังสือพิมพ์รายวันที่ชอบอ่านคือ ไทยรัฐฉบับพิมพ์เหตุผลที่ชอบอ่านเพราะเสนอข่าวที่เป็นข้อเท็จจริงตรงไปตรงมาโดยสนใจอ่านข่าวบันเทิง บทความ/คอลัมน์ที่เป็นเกร็ดเรื่องขำขัน และโฆษณาภาพยนตร์เรื่องใหม่ในระดับมาก ผลดีจากการอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ที่นิสิตเห็นด้วยในระดับมากคือ รู้จักใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ ส่วนผลเสียที่นิสิตเห็นด้วยในระดับมากคือ การเสนอข่าวที่บิดเบือนจากข้อเท็จจริง นอกจากนี้นิสิตมีความพึงพอใจต่อการให้บริการหนังสือพิมพ์ของสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรในระดับมากเกือบทุกรายการ ยกเว้น จำนวนโต๊ะและเก้าอี้ที่นั่งอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ที่ได้รับการประเมินในระดับปานกลางDaily Newspapers Reading by Naresuan University Freshmen

This research aims to study daily newspapers reading by Naresuan University freshman in terms of their behaviors, interests, opinions, and satisfaction of the newspaper service at the main library. Three hundred and ninety seven freshmen agreed to participate in this study. The findings reveal that many participants preferred online newspapers to the printed version with various frequencies and duration spent on reading. They read 1 title per time and used if between 16 and 30 minutes at their dormitories. They were interested in some specific news and columns for up-to-date information. They preferred the Thairath printed version to other titles because of the truth from the news presentation. They were interested in reading the entertainment news, comics and new movies advertisements. Spending quality leisure time was the most the benefit of newspaper reading. While, the news report with the distortion of the truth was the most negative impact. They were most satisfied with the newspaper service at Naresuan University Library, except for the number of tables and chairs available in the reading area.
