Abstract

This research title “Social Media Communication for Blind People A Case study The Northern Region of The Blind Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, Chaingmai.” was aimed to 1) study access to social media for the visually impaired, 2) study social media communication of the visually impaired, 3) understand the problems and obstacles regarding communication via social media of the visually impaired. The researcher used the interview form to collect data. The data were collected from 28 visually impaired students by use purposive Sampling and use in-depth interview. Results for this research In terms of use Commonly used mobile phones Programs that help the visually impaired use access to social media and They use talk back program. Mostly Social Communication were Facebook, Youtube and Line. Problems and obstacles for this research, found that the speed of the internet affects the use In public areas there is no program that allows access to social media for the visually impaired.
