Creating an E-Book “The Spelling Section to Improve Reading and Spelling Skills for the 3rd Grade Students at Mae Kong Witthaya School,Muang District, Lampang Province”

Abstract

          The research on creation of an e-book “The spelling section to improve the reading and spelling skills for the 3^rd grade students at Mae Kong Witthaya School, Muang district, Lampang province” had two objectives: 1) to create an e-book to reach a high level in quality and performance according to criterion 80/80 and 2) to study the satisfaction of the 3^rd grade students during semester 1, 2020. The target group in this research was 15 students in the 3^rd grade, Mae Kong Witthaya School, Muang district, Lampang province. The research tools used were 1) pre-learning test, 2) knowledge tests, 3) e-book post-learning test 4) e-book quality assessment form 5) e-book satisfaction assessemt form. The results showed that the effectiveness of the tool (E1/E2) of the e-book, the spelling section to improve the reading and spelling skills for the 3^rd grade students , was 87.50 and 88.67, which was higher than the specified threshold: 80/ 80. The quality of e-book was at the highest level (4.56), and the 3rd grade student's satisfacion toward the e-book was at the most level (4.91).
