Travel motivation and tourism experiences that affect Thai tourists' satisfaction in traveling to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province
Abstract
The purposes of this research are to 1) study Thai tourists traveling to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. 2) Study the experiences of Thai tourists on tourism in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. 3) Study the satisfaction of Thai tourists on tourism in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and 4) study tourism experiences that affect satisfaction in traveling to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The sample group used in the study was 392 Thai tourists who came to visit Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, using a random sampling method and using a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. Statistics used to analyze data include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test, ANOVA, Factor Analysis, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research results found that Thai tourists have incentives to travel. Overall, it is at a high level. The overall travel experience was at the highest level in terms of satisfaction with traveling. Overall, it is at the highest level. As for the hypothesis test results It was found that Thai tourists of different genders, ages, education levels, and incomes have different motivations and travel experiences.
