Professional Education Administration in Higher Education in the 21st Century

Abstract

The aim of this academic article is to present professional educational administration  concepts in higher education institutions in the 21^st century. The content of the article consists of 5 sections. Section 1, introduction, discussing the origin and importance of Thai people development to have skills needed for the 21^st century, the role of school administrators and higher education institutions in adapting to the development of learners' skills in the 21^st century. Section 2, learning management for skills in the 21^st century is an explanation of the concept of learning management for skills in the 21^st century that focuses on the development of creative thinking skills, morality and ethics and keeping up with modern technology in the digital age. Section 3, learners' skills in the 21^st century is a presentation about the knowledge and skills needed by learners in the 21^st century which include the knowledge of the subjects in the curriculum, skills and desirable characteristics of learners in the 21^st century. Section 4, educational administration for skills development in the 21^st century by applying the Bartlett Model as a tool for educational administration including goal setting, appropriate methods and tools under institutional resource restrictions and related educational environments and finally, the conclusion is presented in Section 5.
