The readiness of police cadets in desirable attributes of the government officers

The purpose of this research, the readiness of police cadets in desirable attributes of the government officers, was to study the readiness levels of police cadets according to desirable attributes of the government officers and compare personal factors including gender, age, year of study, number of siblings, sequence of children, family income and parent/ guardian educational level and the readiness levels. The research results were; 1) the overall readiness levels in desirable attributes of the government officers were high. Among each competence, the professional competence was the highest, the sponsorship and change leader competencies were high and the international competence was the lowest. Next, when comparing the personal factors and the readiness levels, Police cadets that were different in gender have significant difference in the overall and each readiness levels; Police cadets that were different in year of study have significant difference in the overall and each readiness levels; Police cadets that were different in mother education level have significantly difference in the overall and international competence. Finally, Police cadets that were different in age, number of siblings, sequence of children, family income, father education level and guardian education level have no significant difference in the overall and each readiness level.
