ACADEMIC AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION MODEL FOR BILINGUAL SCHOOLS IN THAILAND
Abstract
The objective of this research was to develop the academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand by proceeding in 4 steps, step 1) studying the academic affairs administration concepts for bilingual schools in Thailand. step 2) developing the academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand through the Delphi technique opinion of 17 experts in education. step 3) examining the academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand. step 4) assessing and certificing the suitability, feasibility of implementation of academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand by 5 educational management experts. The statistical used were percentage, median, inter-quartile range, Standard Deviation.
The results of the research were:
- The academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand consists of 6 factors, 1) academic planning factors, 2) learning process development factors, 3) assessment, evaluation and transfer of academic results, 4) research for improving the quality of education in educational institutions factors 5) educational supervision factors 6) the development and the use of technology media for education factors.
- The results of Assessment and certification of academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand found that all aspects were appropriate at a high level. The results of the feasibility of the practical implementation of the academic affairs administration model for bilingual schools in Thailand were at high levels.
