-   Arabic numerals should be used for numbering sections and page numbers.

-         In the manuscript, authors must provide the full name of each contributor in both Thai and English, along with the complete affiliation and institutional or university name for every author. Affiliations should be clearly indicated using numerical superscripts. The corresponding author must be explicitly identified, including their full name and valid email address for correspondence.

-   Abstracts in both Thai and English must be between 250–350 words and must correspond exactly in content. For articles written and published in English, a Thai abstract is not required. However, for articles written in Thai, both Thai and English abstracts are mandatory.

-   Each abstract must be accompanied by 3–5 keywords, separated by commas (,).

-   The number of tables should not exceed eight (8).

-   Figures and diagrams must be of high quality and clearly legible.

-   For research articles involving human or animal subjects, authors are required to upload a copy of the ethics approval certificate through the ThaiJO submission system.

-   Authors must include the following statement of originality in the “Comments for the Editor” box upon submission via ThaiJO:

“I, and any co-authors (if applicable), certify that the manuscript submitted to Sahasat: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Should it later be found that this manuscript contains wholly or partially duplicated content, I accept full responsibility. I also affirm that I and any co-authors agree to comply with the journal’s policies and editorial guidelines, and authorize the editorial team to review, edit, and adjust the manuscript as deemed appropriate without prior notification.”

-   All submissions and editorial processes are conducted exclusively via the ThaiJO online system. Authors can track the review status within the system, and all correspondence will be carried out through ThaiJO and the registered email address. Authors are advised to check both their inbox and spam/junk mail folders regularly. If no confirmation email is received after submission, authors should contact the journal directly at shmujournal@gmail.com

-   For urgent communication regarding submitted manuscripts, authors are requested to provide a mobile phone number in the “Comments for the Editor” box. This information will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.

2.  References and Language

All references must strictly follow the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition guidelines. Sources cited should generally be current, preferably published within the last ten (10) years, except in cases where classical theories or foundational concepts remain widely recognized in the academic field.

The manuscript must employ language that is grammatically accurate, clear, and appropriate in terms of academic style and terminology, in order to preserve the credibility and scholarly quality of the article.

For detailed referencing instructions, please consult the following guide: APA 7th Edition Referencing Guidelines

3.  Authors’ Responsibility and Editorial Role

The content, data, and opinions expressed in each manuscript are the sole responsibility of the respective authors. Any errors remain the responsibility of the authors.

Authors who fail to comply with the journal’s requirements, deadlines, or editorial procedures may have their manuscripts rejected or withdrawn at the discretion of the editorial board, without prior notice.

Articles published in the journal may be reproduced for educational purposes without prior permission, provided proper citation of the source is given. However, reproduction for commercial use or profit purposes, in whole or in part, requires prior written approval from the editorial board, subject to the editor’s discretion.

Authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the content, interpretation, or presentation of their study.
