Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the current situation, identify problems, compare, and explore ways to enhance the quality of education according to the basic education standards in schools under local administrative organizations. The sample group consisted of 92 individuals, including school administrators and teachers, while 17 experts provided information for identifying improvement approaches. Data collection tools included questionnaires and interviews, and data were analyzed using statistical software, calculating the mean () standard deviation (S.D.), frequency (f), t-test (t-test Independent), F-test (One-way ANOVA), and content analysis.
The findings were as follows
1) The condition of educational quality according to the basic education standards of schools under local administrative organizations was found to be at a high level.
2) The most significant problem in educational quality was the lack of interaction and exchange of ideas between teachers and students during the teaching and learning process.
3) When comparing the condition of educational quality based on the basic education standards of schools under local administrative organizations, there was no difference based on work experience. However, there was a statistically significant
difference at the .05 level based on educational attainment.
4) The approaches to improving educational quality included the following. Teachers should organize activities that promote discussion and exchange of ideas among students. Teachers should create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable using English and provide diverse learning activities that align with individual differences. Schools should set clear goals aligned with their vision, communicate these goals effectively to staff, students, parents, and the community, and involve them in the curriculum
implementation process. Adequate budget allocation should be ensured for activities that enhance educational quality.
