บทคัดย่อ
ขบวนการเคลื่อนไหวทางสังคมของภาคพลเมืองต่อการทวงคืนผืนป่าดอยสุเทพเป็นการอ้างความชอบธรรมที่ต้องการปกป้องและรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่อาจจะถูกทำลายจากการพัฒนาโครงการของภาครัฐ ดังนั้นจึงเกิดการตื่นตัวจากคนในพื้นที่และขยายไปสู่เครือข่ายภายนอกโดยมีการเกิดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เป็นฐานทรัพยากรอันมีความสำคัญต่อการดำรงชีวิตและวิถีชีวิตของชาวเชียงใหม่ดังนั้นจึงจัดให้มีการพูดคุย จัดเวที การเสวนาร่วมกับนักวิชาการ และมีการร่วมมือกับเครือข่ายจนเริ่มเกิดรูปแบบการเคลื่อนไหว ต่อสู้ และยุทธวิธีของขบวนการทางสังคม เช่น การขึ้นป้ายคัดค้าน การเรียกร้อง การเดินขบวน การใช้สื่อโซเชียลมีเดีย การยื่นหนังสือคัดค้านต่อหน่วยงานราชการ นอกจากนั้นการต่อสู้ยังใช้เรื่องของความเชื่อทางด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม และจารีตประเพณีมาหนุนเสริมในการเคลื่อนไหว
