Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) examine the effectiveness of primary schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3; 2) investigate the factors related to transformational leadership (X1), motivation (X2), teacher-related (X3), and administrator-related factors (X4); 3) study the relationships between 4 factors with school effectiveness; and 4) develop a predictive equation for school effectiveness based on these factors. The sample consisted of 322 teachers under the Office of Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area 3, selected through multi-stage random sampling. The research instruments were five-level Likert scale questionnaires, including: a questionnaire on perceptions of school effectiveness (reliability = .988), and a questionnaire assessing opinions on the 4 factors (reliability .977 - .987). The statistical methods used included Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis. 
Research Findings 
1) The overall and dimensional levels of school effectiveness were found to be at the highest level ( equation = 4.80, S.D. = 0.72). 
2) The overall and dimensional levels of administrative factors influencing school effectiveness were also at the highest level ( equation = 4.67, S.D. = 0.72). 
3) The predictor variables were found to have positive correlations with all criterion variables at a statistical significance level of .01 for X1, X2 and X3; and at a 
statistical significance level of .05 for X4. 
4) The predictive equation for factors affecting the effectiveness was formulated as follows:
Prediction equation in raw scores:
Y' = 2.707 + .137X1+.221X2 + .085X3
Prediction equation in standardized scores:
Z'Y = 0.266ZX1 + 0.353ZX2 + 0.172ZX3
