Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the components of digital leadership among school administrators. The study was conducted in two phases. The first phase involved synthesizing the components of digital leadership from ten sources, including academic documents, theoretical frameworks, and related research studies. Components cited with a frequency of at least 50 percent were selected for inclusion. The second phase involved evaluating the appropriateness of the synthesized components by five purposively selected experts. The research instruments consisted of a document synthesis form and a five-point Likert-scale evaluation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings revealed that digital leadership of school administrators comprises four major components: (1) Digital Vision, (2) Digital Networking, (3) Digital Competency, and (4) Digital Literacy. All four components met the established synthesis criteria and were evaluated by the experts as being appropriate at the highest level ( equation = 5.00, S.D. = 0.00). These findings indicate that digital leadership is a fundamental competency for school administrators in driving organizational change, integrating digital technologies into educational administration, fostering innovation in teaching and learning, and enhancing educational quality in response to digital transformation and the demands of twenty-first-century education. The synthesized framework can serve as a conceptual foundation for developing professional standards, leadership development programs, and competency assessment models for school administrators in the digital era.
