Proposed Guidelines for Promoting the Use of Digital Platforms by Subdistrict Municipalities in Tak Province -

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) investigate information perception factors affecting the use of digital platforms among subdistrict municipalities in Tak Province; (2) examine the level of digital platform utilization among subdistrict municipalities in Tak Province; and (3) propose guidelines for promoting the use of digital platforms in subdistrict 
municipalities in Tak Province. A mixed-methods research design was employed. 
The quantitative phase collected data from 165 political officials and civil servants 
working in subdistrict municipalities in Tak Province using a questionnaire with a 
reliability coefficient of 0.965. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews with 15 key informants, and the data were analyzed through content analysis.
The findings revealed that:
1) the overall level of information perception factors influencing the use of digital platforms was high ( = 4.21, S.D. = 0.56)
2) the overall level of digital platform utilization among subdistrict municipalities was also high ( = 4.21, S.D. = 0.65)
3) the proposed guidelines for promoting digital platform utilization consisted of five key approaches: enhancing personnel competencies in digital platform usage; designing and improving digital platforms to better support local administrative 
operations; establishing management policies and support measures, including user manuals; promoting awareness and fostering positive attitudes toward digital platform adoption through public communication; and implementing continuous monitoring and evaluation systems to improve the efficiency of digital platform utilization in local 
government administration and public service delivery.
