Needs Assessment for The 21St Century Administrative Skills Development of School Administrators Under Thare-Nongseng Archdiocese

Abstract

This research aimed to 1. study the actual conditions and the conditions that should be of 21^st century management skills of school administrators, 2. study the necessity to develop 21^st century management skills of school administrators, and 3. study the guidelines for developing 21^st century management skills of school administrators. The sample group used in the research consisted of 226 administrators and teachers in schools under the Archdiocese of Tha Rae-Nong Saeng in the academic year 2024, obtained by multi-stage random sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The actual conditions had a reliability of 1.00, a discrimination power of 0.29-0.82, and a reliability of 0.97. The ideal conditions had a reliability of 1.00, a discrimination power of 0.36-0.84, and a reliability of 0.97. 
The development guidelines questionnaire was developed by 5 qualified persons. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and the PNI_modified
The research results found that
1. The 21st century management skills of school administrators under the Archdiocese of Tha Rae-Nong Saeng, the actual conditions were at a high level overall 
( = 4.29, S.D. = 0.57) and the conditions that should be at a high level overall ( = 4.64, S.D. = 0.46)
2. The needs of 21^st century management skills of school administrators under the Archdiocese of Tha Rae-Nong Saeng, the overall PNI_modified was equal to 0.081. When considering each aspect from most to least, they were human relations skills, creativity skills, digital technology skills, and communication skills, respectively.
3. Guidelines for developing 21^st century management skills of school administrators under the Archdiocese of Tha
Rae-Nong Saeng, there are 2 aspects: human relations skills and creativity skills.
