Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to 1. Study the current state of academic administration based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment (Iddhipada) of administrators in the General Education Division of Buddhist Scripture Schools (Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools), Region 7, and 2. Explore the guidelines for academic administration based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment of administrators in these schools. This was a mixed-methodology research combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative data were collected using questionnaires, while the qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using both descriptive analysis and statistical methods.
The research findings revealed that:
1. The current academic administration based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment, overall and in each aspect, was at a high level. The highest aspect was Chanda (satisfaction/desire), followed by Citta (attention), Vimamsa (investigation), and the lowest was Viriya (effort).
2. The proposed guidelines for academic administration based on the Four Paths of Accomplishment are as follows: 1) Administrators supervise, monitor, and provide guidance to create a learning-supportive environment for students. 2) Administrators conduct systematic instructional supervision and develop clear supervision manuals and tools. 3) Administrators utilize learning tools and resources that stimulate student interest and engagement. 4) Administrators assign personnel to assess and evaluate student learning outcomes in alignment with educational standards.
