The transformational Model of Leadership Development of School Administrators Group Charity School in Buddhist Temples

Abstract

The purposes of this research were1) study of transformational leadership of school administrators, The Group's charity school in Buddhist temple. 2) To a model development of transformational leadership of school administrators, the Group's charity school in Buddhist temple 3) To evaluate of using a model development of transformational leadership of school administrators, The Group's charity school in Buddhist temple. The samples population used in the study were divided into 3 phases. Phases 1: study of transformational leadership of school administrators, the group's charity school in Buddhist temple by multistage random sampling steps of 33 school. Sample number of 66 persons, were school administrator 33 persons and representative teachers of 33 people that are selected from purposive sampling.  Phase 2: samples for experimental use transformational leadership development model of 17 were purposively selected according to the size and the context of the school by the voluntary of administrators. Phase 3: samples for evaluation used the development model of transformational leadership consists of the voluntary administrators 17 people and representative teachers 17 people participant to assess by purposive sampling. Tools used in this research contains a questionnaire about the transformational leadership of the 80 questions were a rating scale  5 level that have  reliability of  0.98. Development model of transformational leadership that effective by checking of experts of 15 people and the assessment transformational leadership of school administrators the number 20 questions that have reliability coefficient 0.98. the statistical devices used for analyzing the data were mean and standard deviation and t-test  Dependent 


 


The results showed the following: 


  1. Leadership and transformational of the charity school of the Buddhist temples in the high level.

  2. Leadership development model transformation of school administrators. It is a form of systems consisting of

      1) context (Context),  the key principles, objectives, transformational leadership in current conditions how to development  the transformational leadership


      2) feeder (Input), including knowledge about leadership changes 5 elements.


      3) Process (Process), including intensive workshop (Intensive workshop) consists of four modules, including modules 1. Knowledge module 2. Practice writing development plan of transformational leadership module  3. the module execution plan developed in real conditions. 4.evaluation developed in real conditions. 3)Production including executives who have developed knowledge and transformational leadership.


      4) feedback (Feedback), including the administrators who  attended development of transformational leadership The high level. the administrators who  have been developed to review and transformational leadership development continuously.


  1. The results of the development model, transformational leadership of school administrators of 34 people by administrators assessment self- assessment and by teachers assessment. Found that administrators have transformational leadership after intensive workshops the overall aspects are the highest level. When comparing the transformational leadership of the school administrators before and after intensive workshops. There is a distinct difference statistically significant at .01.

Summary of the development model of transformational leadership of school administrators developed more appropriate in applying to develop of transformational leadership of school administrators coupled with administration in colleges It should promote the model used to develop the transformational leadership.
