Abstract
This study aimed to compare mathematics learning achievements
entitled Pythagoras theorems, interpersonal relationships, and analytical thinking
for Matthayomsueksa 2 (grade 7) between collaborative STAD learning and TAI.
Three type of the instruments used in this study were : plans for organization
of collaborative STAD learning and TAI, 7 plans each, each plan taught for 2
hours ; of 2 tests with 30-item 4-choice each : Test 1 was a test of learning
achievement ; Test 2 was a test of analytical thinking test ; and a 20-item 5-
rating-scale inventory on interpersonal relationship. The statistics used for
analyzing the collected data were percentage mean standard deviation and
Hotelling T2 was employed for testing hypotheses.
The result of the study showed that the group of the students who
learned using collaborative STAD learning and the group of the students who
learned using TAI did not have different mathematics learning achievements ;
interpersonal relationships analytical thinking ability
