Main Article Content
Abstract
The objectives of this research were to investigate the level factors which affect
mathematics learning achievement for undergraduate students of Thai-Nichi Institute of
Technology, to explore the relationship between various factors and mathematics learning
achievement for undergraduate students of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology and to create
equation prediction of mathematics learning achievement for undergraduate students of
Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology. The samples for the study were 316 undergraduate
students of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology year 2014. The questionnaire is a tool to that
had been applied to collect the data. The data had been analyzed by statistics method of
frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment
correlation-coefficient., and multiple regression analysis.
The research findings revealed that the level of students factors affecting
mathematics learning achievement for students as a whole and in each aspect was at a
moderate level. Regarding the level of instructors and family factors affecting mathematics
learning achievement for students as a whole and in each aspect was at a high level. The
relationship between the students and the instructors factors as a whole was positively
correlated with student’s achievement in mathematics with the level of statistical
significance .01. The family had no relation to mathematics achievement. The factors that
affect to mathematics achievement of the undergraduate students of Thai-Nichi Institute of
Technology were the attitudes toward mathematic (X1), the achievements motivation (X2),
and the teaching methods (X3). The regression equation which was discovered was
