Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) to Developing of Scholastic Aptitude Test in Computer
for mathayomsuksa 3 under the Office of Si Sa Ket Educational Service Area 3 2) to determine the
quality of A Construction of Scholastic Aptitude Test in Computer And 3) to construct norms.
The samples consisted of 228 from 13 schools, studying under the Office of Si Sa Ket Education
Service Area 3 in the First semester of the academic year 2009, The sample was selected through
the multi-stage random sampling technique. The instruments used were a Scale on Scholastic
Aptitude Test in Computer for mathayomsuksa 3 under the Office of Si Sa Ket Educational Service
Area 3, with 4 choices, totally 75 items in 5 aspects, Language, Reasons arithmetic, Numbers
Sequence of numbers and letters, And the analysis diagram. experimented 3 times, in the first and
second experiment the samples consisted of 66,76 Respectively. for to analyze for difficulty,
discriminating powers in the third the samples consisted of 228 for to analyze for difficulty,
discriminating powers And was to find out reliabilities, construct validities, and construction
of norms in a form of T-norm scores ; and extension of T - scores using predictive
equations
The research findings were as follows :
1. The quality of test
in the first experiments, difficulty and discriminating powers of the a Scale,
ranging 0.24 to 0.88, 0.06 to 0.58 respectively. reliabilities of 0.65
in the second experiments, difficulty and discriminating powers of the a Scale,
ranging 0.24 to 0.88, 0.06 to 0.58 respectively. reliabilities of 0.66

in the third By the following values.
1) The content validity from 0.60 -1.00.
2) For construct validities using the known group technique as tested using
t-test, The obtained values were statistically significant at the .01
3) Predictive accuracy. The correlation coefficient between Pearson's grade
point average (GPA) with the results of a test of academic aptitude in all aspects. Relationship
statistically significant at the .01 level.
4) difficulty and discriminating powers of the a Scale, ranging 0.31 to 0.67, 0.20
to 0.52 respectively reliabilities ranging 0.47 to 0.68
2. Norm scores of the test all of the 5 aspects were : Aspect 1 Language with T-norms
ranging 24-80, aspect 2 Reasons arithmetic with T-norms ranging 24-79, aspect 3 Numbers with
T- norms ranging 24-73, aspect 4 Sequence of numbers and letters with T-norms ranging 24-75,
and aspect 5 the analysis diagram with T-norms ranging 28–74
