The Proposed Policy for Development of Internal Quality Assurance System in the School under Maha Sarakham Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The objectives of this study were 1) to determine the status and the problems in
implementing of internal quality assurance system in the school. 2) to prepare the proposed
policy for developing internal quality assurance system in school. 3) to verify and evaluate the
proposed policy.There were 418 samples of the study. The instruments of the study were the
questionnaire, the interview, the seminar recording form, the proposed policy recording form, the
proposed policy checklist and the proposed policy evaluation form. The quantitative data was
analyzed by arithmetic mean, standard deviation and percentage, content analysis and analytic
induction.
The result showed that the implementation of the internal quality assurance system in
the school under Maha Sarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in all 8 elements was
at the medium level. Among these, the problem in 6 elements was at high level and 2 elements
was at medium level. By the way, the policy proposed for the development of internal quality
assurance system in school, include 1 vision, 1 mission, 8 strategies, 17 (ways) strategies into
action, and20 indicators. The feasibility, the congruity, the utility, and the propriety of the
proposed vision, mission, implementation strategies, and indicators were rated at the “highest”
level.
