Factors Affecting Performance Efficiency of the Office of the President of the Kasetsart University’s officers

Abstract
This research has objectives to study factors affected a performance of the President’s Office Staff of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen. The results of this study will help to improve work efficiency planning of the officer. This research uses quantitative research methodologies as a tool to collect data from questionnaire survey for 14 departments, a total of 300 samples in the President’s Office. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean and processed using SPSS for Windows program. Hypothesis testing in motivation factors and Hygiene factors are handled by Independent-Sample T-Test and One-Way ANOVA.
According to the research, the majority of the President’s office staff are female, aged between 30-40 years, with more than 10 years of experience. The results of the motivation factors found that the staff with different age and positions status were very responsive to such factors. Focusing on motivation for work success, there is a need to be accepted for work from colleagues and supervisors. Including being encouraged to make progress that is suitable for the work.
For hygiene factors that reduce staff dissatisfaction is a fair policy and administration. The development of staff is suitable for the core workload and necessity of the agency, as well as the provision of equipment needed to complete the work.
The results of hypothesis showed that the age differences in the position of staff have an impact on operational incentives in three areas: operational success, recognition and career progression.
The recommendation from the research is that Kasetsart University should set appropriate policies to support the progress of staff based on age and position status for the most effective condition. In order to fulfill the needs of staff, the University should improve working environment to be clean, safe, and pleasant to work.
