Effect of Inquiry-Based E-Learning on Students’ Understanding of Morality and Ethic in Information and Communication Technology

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to 1) compare the understanding of students who studied with inquiry-based learning using eLearning lessons before and after studying, 2) study the knowledge -seeking behavior of students and, 3) study student satisfaction with e-learning lessons using This is an experimental research study with the sample group was undergraduate students. Faculty of Education By a simple random sampling method of 30 people, The used tools in this research consisted of 1) Learning management plan 2) e-learning lessons using the inquiry-based learning process 3) learning achievement measurement form 4) learner behavior recording form 5) satisfaction assessment form of learners using the lesson e-learning. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and T-test for dependent.

The results of the study revealed that:

1) Results of comparing students’ understanding of students learning with e-lessons. e-learning about morality and ethics in the use of information technology It was found that students had higher understanding after studying. before studying with statistical significance at the .01 level.

2) The knowledge seeking behavior of the students is at a good level (=2.26, S.D.=0.10) and

3) The satisfaction of the students with the e-learning lessons using is generally at a good level. (=4.21, S.D.=0.34)
